The Hollies – The Air That I Breathe – 1974
Yet another hit by the Hollies. Perhaps their greatest. A love song – I know because I lived it and it was great!

People have accused me of living in the past when it comes to my musical tastes, but for me it is all about the song/singer and songs are timeless. Here is one of my favorites from the recent past. Avril Lavigne is so “je ne sais quoi”… phresh… Canadienne. Yeah, I’m a fan.
Mister Lucky was a extremely short-lived TV show directed by Blake Edwards which aired in the fall of 1959 and was cancelled in June 1960. It was unremarkable. However the theme song that Henry Mancini wrote for the show stands out as one of the best television theme songs ever written. It was Mancini’s first hit song (Top 40) – a true classic.
Andy Williams sings the theme to the movie Charade (1963) that starred Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. The theme, composed by Henry Mancini, was instrumental only and lyrics were added after the movie was released.
Here is the original theme without lyrics (I get chills each time I hear this!):
I watched the movie the other night on NetFlix and it was probably the 10th time I’ve seen it – So, I will give it 10 thumbs up.
