Gathering Leaves

New branches of the descendants of Hermes Haustraete have been added. Hermes Haustraete was a 9th great-grandfather of mine who was born sometime in the mid-16th century. This adds the descendants of Martin Haustrate and the descendants of Pierre Haustraete, brothers of my ancestor Louis Haustraete (1620 – 1666). Also added is the family of Jean Haustraete, son of Louis Haustraete, and the descendants of Hermes Haustraete (1708 – 1766)  who was the son of Arnoult Haustraete, a 7th great-grandfather of mine.

A new branch of the DeBacker family has been added. These are the descendants of Livinus Franciscus De Backer, son of Jacobus De Backer and brother of my ancestor Judocus (Joos) De Backer. The source of information for this branch comes from Geneanet – Daniel DeBacker’s family tree. Daniel DeBacker, who lives in Belgium, and I are 7th cousins.
