Ros Davies’ Co. Down Ireland Genealogy Research Site (Co. Down Ireland Genealogy Research Site) has a number of great resources for folks researching ancestors in the Northern Ireland counties of Down and Antrim.
A recent update to her site notes has:
Wills section of www.proni.gov.uk? So far just indexes c. 1870- 1930 but soon full copies of Wills fee online. Also checked out the www.census.nationalarchives.ie page regularly as Co Antrim & Co. Down were the next to be indexed free online.
There’s a new DNA project for those whose ancestors came from the Ards Peninsula. Check out their website for surnames involved so far.
